In the Beelden voor de Toekomst (Images for the Future) project six organizations save an important part of the audiovisual heritage of the Netherlands through conservation and digitization. The digitized material will be made available to education and to the public as broadly as possible.

Since the clients brief enhanced a focus on the easy accessible archive, instead of the huge amount of data, I came up with a tangible concept. The narrator talks us through the features of the project and creates metaphorical compositions that visualize the features of the project.

Freeband Communication and IIPIC share a vision of the future: a world in which information and communication technology render one's surroundings into a thinking and caring environment.

The results of the Freeband Communication research program should be visualized in a compelling film. I approached the material using infographics to explain the vast quantities of data. To create a relationship with the continuing technology the film starts with a minimalist introduction in a narrow color spectrum and gradually transitioned to an abundant, multicolored world.
